Former UBF Champion Labinot Xhoxhaj Set for European Heavyweight Title Defense Against Eduardo Giustini

RUST, GERMANY — Former Universal Boxing Federation Inter-Continental Heavyweight Champion Labinot Xhoxhaj is preparing for another European championship assignment, with a voluntary EBU heavyweight title defense against Italy’s Eduardo Giustini scheduled for Friday, November 27, 2026.

The European Boxing Union’s official schedule confirms the matchup, date and host city. Boxen1’s October 26 preview identifies Europa-Park Arena as the venue and lists the contest over twelve rounds on Ringside Zone’s “Symphony of the Ring” card.

A Former UBF Champion on the European Stage

Xhoxhaj’s championship journey includes a significant chapter under the UBF banner. On December 27, 2020, he defeated Hungary’s Tamas Lodi in Kosovo to capture the UBF Inter-Continental Heavyweight Championship. The achievement is documented in a March 2022 career profile published by the Universal Boxing Organization, a separate sanctioning body.

That victory remains part of his UBF history as he pursues further success in the heavyweight division. His upcoming appearance is an EBU championship contest, not a UBF title defense.

Giustini Awaits in Rust

Boxen1 lists Xhoxhaj at 22 wins, no defeats and one draw, with 17 knockouts. Its preview notes that he has held the European title since November 2024 and stopped Pezhman Seifkhani in the fourth round of his February 2026 defense.

Giustini, described in the same report as a three-time Italian champion from Florence, now has an opportunity to challenge the unbeaten titleholder for European honors.

For Xhoxhaj, the assignment is straightforward: retain his championship and preserve the momentum that has carried him to this stage. For Giustini, Rust represents the chance to change the course of that story.

The UBF Connection Endures

The Universal Boxing Federation recognizes Xhoxhaj’s place among its former champions and follows his continued progress with interest. His European championship campaign adds another chapter to a career whose earlier achievements include the UBF Inter-Continental heavyweight crown.
