WBO denies Bentley exception request, orders Hernandez mandatory

The WBO rejected middleweight champion Denzel Bentley's request for a voluntary defense and gave him 24 hours to commit to mandatory challenger Yoenli Hernandez, according to WBO president Gustavo Olivieri. Bentley is reportedly booked against Shane Mosley Jr. on November 7; no title vacancy has been confirmed.
