Oscar Collazo relinquishes WBO strawweight title; Matsumoto in line for promotion

Oscar Collazo has vacated his WBO 105-pound championship before a purse bid for a mandatory bout with interim titlist Ryusei Matsumoto. The WBO says Matsumoto is to be elevated to full champion subject to its formal ruling. Collazo retains his WBA title; no Collazo–Matsumoto fight is scheduled.
