Edgar Berlanga arrested in Florida; November arraignment scheduled

According to court records obtained by Uncrowned, super-middleweight boxer Edgar Berlanga was arrested October 26 in Polk County, Florida, on misdemeanor battery and felony aggravated battery charges arising from an alleged October 18 incident. A judge reportedly set combined bail at $16,000; arraignment is scheduled November 17. The allegations have not been adjudicated, and Berlanga is presumed innocent.
